Mexican Navy vessel slams into cargo ship

Coastal Patrol Vessel ARM Uxmal collided with the ultra-high-capacity cargo ship during an arrival maneuver in Isla Mujeres.

The Mexican Navy says the vessel experienced a possible clutch failure, which prevented it from stopping in time.

The investigation is still ongoing to determine whether that was the actual cause of the crash.
